Job Description Murrell Intel Dental Group is looking for a friendly and organized Appointment Scheduler to join our team. You will help manage our dental appointment calendar, communicate with patients, and support our front desk both remotely and in-person. No prior dental experience is required — we provide training!
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments by phone, email, or online system
Greet patients in person and assist with check-ins on scheduled in-office days
Answer basic questions about services, office hours, and insurance accepted
Maintain accurate appointment records and ensure schedule is up to date
Work closely with dental staff to coordinate schedules and patient flow
Provide reminders and follow-ups to reduce no-shows
Handle changes or cancellations quickly and professionally
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable using a computer and scheduling software
Able to work both remotely and in the office as needed
Reliable and organized with attention to detail
part-time $22 - $25 per hour
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Commission-Based Incentives: Earn a percentage of the revenue generated from advanced treatments, including dental implants, orthodontic procedures, and cosmetic dentistry services.
- Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7 AM - 4 PM; Wednesday: Closed; Friday: 7 AM - 1 PM.
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Overtime: Overtime available during busy seasons and paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
- Holiday Shifts: Occasional holiday shifts, compensated at double time.
