Associate Director / Director – Drug Safety Physician (Contract) We are supporting a growing biotech as they build out their Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance function at a key stage in their development. This is a 12 month contract with strong potential to extend or convert into a permanent role. The position offers the opportunity to step into a high‑ownership, strategic safety role within an innovative pipeline environment. The Role You will act as the medical safety lead across one or more programmes, working closely with Clinical and Regulatory teams to guide safety strategy and support development milestones. This is a hands‑on role with real influence across the organisation. Key responsibilities Lead global safety strategy and benefit risk assessment Oversee signal detection and safety evaluations Author and review aggregate reports such as DSURs and PBRERs Support regulatory submissions including IND, NDA, and BLA Provide safety input into protocols, IBs, and ICFs Collaborate cross‑functionally with Clinical, Regulatory, and external partners Support inspection readiness and health authority interactions What We are looking for? MD with experience in Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance Background as a Global Safety Physician or Medical Director Strong experience in: Signal detection Aggregate reporting Regulatory submissions Oncology or haematology experience is highly preferred Ability to work at both strategic and operational level Contract Details Contract length: 12 months Location: NJ (2 days onsite per week) #J-18808-Ljbffr
