Job Description

Job Summary: Public Relations Manager will develop and execute innovative PR campaigns across U.S. beauty categories, including Color, Skincare, Fragrance, and Personal Care. This role focuses on securing impactful editorial coverage, shaping compelling brand narratives, and collaborating with key media, influencers, and tastemakers to create buzzworthy media moments.

Relevant Details:

  • Function: Digital Marketing.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Duration: 6 months to 1 year project.
  • Location: Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch break).
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute strategic PR campaigns in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Craft and pitch compelling brand stories that align with overall marketing goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with beauty, lifestyle, broadcast media, and industry tastemakers.
  • Identify timely opportunities to engage in trending conversations and secure media features.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to amplify PR initiatives.
  • Monitor, track, and report media coverage; share key wins across social channels and with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate event planning and media activations to create unique, press-worthy experiences.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of public relations experience in the beauty industry or at an agency serving beauty clients.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the beauty landscape, including publications, digital trends, competitive strategies, and affiliate PR.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proven track record of securing top-tier media placements.
  • Established relationships with beauty editors and media contacts.
