Job Description

A wholesale bait distributor in Beaufort, North Carolina needs delivery drivers for peak season starting now. This is a coastal route, early mornings, customer-facing work, and up to 12-hour days. No CDL required. If you are dependable, take pride in your work, and can represent a company well in front of customers, we want to talk.

This is a seasonal contract through October with two openings: one full-time and one part-time at 3 days per week. Weekly pay from day one.

The Details

• Pay: $18.00 - $21.00/hour, paid weekly via direct deposit
• Openings: 2 total - one full-time, one part-time (3 days per week)
• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 12-hour shifts. Potential Overnight travel required 1-2 nights per week during peak season.
• Location: Beaufort, NC. Coastal delivery routes from NC to Myrtle Beach, SC.
• Type: Seasonal contract through October. Potential for long term employment depending on experience/needs.
• Start: Immediate

What You Will Do

• Drive up to a 22 ft. box truck on scheduled delivery routes along the NC coast, with routes reaching as far south as Myrtle Beach, SC
• Deliver frozen fish and bait products to bait and tackle shops, wildlife centers, and retail customers.
• Interact directly with customers at every stop, assist with bait selection, and stock retail freezer shelves
• Accurately match products to delivery orders, maintain delivery documentation, and report any discrepancies at time of delivery
• Handle 10-12 hour workdays consistently, including lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist height throughout the shift
• Represent the company professionally on the road and at every customer location
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized truck

What We Are Looking For
Required

• 2+ years of box truck or delivery driving experience
• Clean driving record - a DMV report will be required as part of the hiring process
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and pre-employment drug screening
• Strong communication and customer service skills - you are the face of the company at every stop
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs unassisted and sustain a 12-hour physical workday
• Attention to detail - correct product delivery is critical at every stop

Preferred

• Knowledge of saltwater fishing products and techniques
• Comfort with overnight travel 1-2 nights per week during busy season
