The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents in this position. • Operates a variety of trucks and equipment including, but not limited to, loaders, skid steer, mini excavator, and self-propelled packer
• Transports materials, vehicles, and equipment to and from site
• Repairs and maintains surfaces through activities such as patching asphalt and sealing cracks in pavement
• Performs routine inspection and maintenance on trucks and equipment; reports mechanical problems requiring additional repair
• Performs manual labor activities, including snow and debris removal, snow fence maintenance, foliage maintenance, and others as assigned
• Adheres to safety rules and regulations on all work sites, reports safety hazards and traffic problems
• Acts in the interest of public safety and personal property protection during emergencies
• Maintains confidentiality of non-public records and makes available all data and information deemed a public record by the North Dakota Century Code.

Typical Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent AND one (1) year of related work experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Compensation: Starting Salary ranges from $39-$41.20/hour based on experience and training.
