POSITION SUMMARY
At To the T Plumbing & Heating, LLC, our HVAC Service Technicians are essential in delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services to our residential and commercial clients. OBJECTIVES
  • Accurately diagnose HVAC system issues to determine appropriate repair or maintenance actions.
  • Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure longevity and efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Clearly explain system issues and solutions to clients, ensuring they are informed and satisfied.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and accounted for.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies to enhance service delivery.
  • Work effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring necessary parts and supplies are available.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Experience: 3–5 years in an administrative or office support role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Experience within the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industries.
    • Proficiency in office management software and tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, coordinate schedules, and oversee administrative staff.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment, with weights varying from 10 to 100 pounds.
  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling tools and equipment, including the ability to push, pull, and demonstrate eye-hand coordination.
  • Mobility and Posture: Capability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach above the shoulder, crouch, and crawl.
  • Work Environment Adaptability: Willingness and ability to work in various conditions, including extreme temperatures, confined spaces, elevated heights, and environments with noise or vibrations.
  • Vision and Hearing: Adequate near and far vision, as well as hearing abilities, are important for reading blueprints, inspecting systems, and communicating effectively in noisy environments.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to verbally communicate with team members, clients, and supervisors, ensuring clear understanding and coordination.
