Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity involves providing specialized educational support to students with visual impairments via telehealth. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to enhance learning experiences and promote independence for students in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to visually impaired students through telehealth platforms.
• Develop and adapt educational materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and related service providers to create effective learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification or licensure in visual impairment education.

• Strong knowledge of adaptive technology and instructional methods for visually impaired learners.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual instruction.
