In this pivotal role, you will apply established EHS principles, practices, regulations, and internal standards while engaging with stakeholders and customers. You’ll take a solutions‑oriented approach to planning, directing, and completing a wide range of EHS assignments that support a safe and compliant workplace. What You’ll Work On Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and internal standards. Stay current on evolving regulatory requirements and proactively address risks. Represent EHS during audits and inspections; maintain accurate documentation. Project Management Independently lead and manage multiple EHS projects from scope to execution. Conduct feasibility studies, develop schedules, and deliver results on time and within budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and implement contingency plans when needed. Technical Leadership Apply advanced EHS knowledge to programs and systems. Benchmark best practices and lead cross‑functional initiatives. Present technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Problem Solving & Innovation Identify and resolve complex EHS challenges through root cause analysis and strategic planning. Deliver cost‑effective, value‑added solutions that align with business goals. Anticipate future trends and develop proactive strategies. Organizational Influence Mentor and guide team members and external partners. Build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Develop and deliver impactful training programs and presentations. Additional Responsibilities Maintain EHS procedures and standards. Support capital project planning and documentation. Represent EHS on committees and project teams. Respond to urgent EHS issues with sound judgment and technical expertise. Required Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field. 5+ years of EHS and/or operational experience in a regulated environment. Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills. Preferred Advanced degree (preferred) Professional EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM). Experience in the medical device or manufacturing industry. The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
