Underwriter Opportunity

The Underwriter is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include:

• Underwriting loans manually while ensuring compliance with FHA, VA, investor, and FHLMC requirements.
• Performing credit qualification reviews for assumptions and related transactions, and clearly communicating underwriting conditions to processors, borrowers, management, and clients.
• Supporting processors and management by coordinating conditions, reviewing submitted documentation, ordering title work, and completing underwriting reviews within required timelines.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of underwriting and processing experience.
• Ability to fully review and underwrite loans without the assistance of automated underwriting systems.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Experience with FHA, VA, and FHLMC underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain underwriting conditions.

Pay Rate: $59.28 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
