Videographer – Live Morning Show & Livestream Production

About the Role

MediaCo is seeking a dependable, fast-paced Videographer to support our live morning show and daily livestream production at HOT 97. This is a hands-on production role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-moving environments and can adapt quickly during live or taped segments.

You will work at the center of daily broadcast operations, capturing high-quality video content, supporting livestream execution, and ensuring assets are organized and delivered efficiently for post-production.

What You’ll Do

Live Show & Content Capture

Capture video content for live morning show segments, including in-studio interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and production elements

Livestream Production Support

Assist with daily livestream operations, including setup, monitoring, and execution during live broadcasts

Media Management & Delivery

Organize, label, and transfer footage to editors after each show in a timely and efficient manner

Production Coordination

Maintain awareness of live broadcast timing and adjust quickly to production changes during live or taped segments

Collaboration

Work closely with producers, hosts, and editors to ensure content aligns with programming needs and quality standards

Technical Execution

Troubleshoot basic production and recording issues in real time as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work early morning shifts on a consistent basis
• Experience in live production environments
• Familiarity with livestream workflows and broadcast-style production
• Proficiency in:
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (aftereffects & animation a plus)
  • DaVinci Resolve

• 3-5 years of experience has a videographer
• Shoot various types of content for both HOT 97 & WBLS.
• Have the ability to set and light a shoot area
• Operates own camera
• Assist in studio production audio, recording, and teleprompter
• Establish “shoot” areas in our current office and in remote locations
• Assist in the coordination of internal/external talent and props
• Coordinate shot list with team
• Maintain consistent lighting and video style
• Create video specifically optimized for social media and digital platforms, organic and paid.
• Strong understanding of file management, media organization, and content delivery workflows
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• High level of reliability, adaptability, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in radio, broadcast, or digital media production environments

Familiarity with multi-camera setups and live production workflows

Compensation & Employment Details

Full-time designation aligned with hiring plan

Compensation range: $5000/monthly

Role is based in New York and requires on-site presence during early morning hours

Additional Information

This position is a production/technical role supporting broadcast and digital operations and does not involve on-air talent responsibilities.
