CNA Opportunity At Correctional Facility In Santa Ana, CA

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring part-time CNA to support a Correctional Facility in Santa Ana, CA on the weekend!

Setting: Correctional Facility

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays

Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM

Pay: $24/hour — weekly pay!

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of CNA experience
• Correctional, behavioral health, or psych experience is a plus
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting patients with daily activities
• Providing personal care
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Monitoring medication intake
• Charting and documentation
• Supporting the RN/LVN with assigned tasks

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years
• Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
