Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a focused opportunity for a Special Education teacher to support K-12 students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in West Point, MS. The role is contract-based and is set to start as soon as possible, continuing through the end of the school year.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction tailored to the diverse needs of students with special education requirements
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with families and school personnel

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Active Special Education Teaching License valid in the state of practice
• Familiarity with classroom management and differentiated instruction techniques appropriate for K-12 students
• Experience teaching at elementary, middle, or high school levels is essential
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Position details:

• Contract duration: Immediate start through the end of the current school year
• Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week across 5 days
• Location: West Point, MS
