Leads IDS and Divisional Initiatives for Research – Leads and actively participates in investigational pharmacy service initiatives involving education, clinical research, professional development, and performance improvement. Functional Supervisory Capacity – Effectively provides guidance and mentorship to specialty technicians and designated teams. Analytical Thinking – Gathers relevant information systematically, breaks down problems into simple components, and makes sound decisions. Oral Communication – Expresses ideas clearly and concisely in groups and one‑to‑one conversations; creates an environment with open channels of communication. Written Communication – Conveys information clearly and concisely through both formal and informal documents; adapts writing style to fit the audience. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited college of pharmacy. Preferred Education: Doctorate (Professional). Certification: Texas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist license within 90 days of job entry. AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of job entry. AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of job entry, if working in specified departments. Preferred Certification: None. Experience: None. Preferred Experience: Five years of hospital pharmacy practice experience with investigational pharmacy services. Onsite Presence: Is required.
