Learning progress on this device
Lesson progress, XP, daily goals and the seven-day checklist are stored in your browser. They do not sync across devices. Clearing site storage removes them. Device speech uses your browser’s Japanese voice; availability and pronunciation vary.
Optional measurement
Analytics stays off until you choose “Allow analytics”. If enabled, a random browser ID and session ID link visits and learning events. The first-party report records public page identifiers, approximate active time, scroll milestones, lesson and quiz starts/completions, correctness counts, browser language, broad mobile/desktop class and recognised traffic source.
No email address, name, free-text answer, card detail, full referrer URL, query string or raw IP address is stored in this event database. A short-lived keyed IP hash supports request rate limiting. Hosting providers and configured third-party services may process technical connection data separately.
First-party events are retained for up to 90 days and removed by request-triggered maintenance. Owner reports require authentication; event storage must remain outside the public web directory. The owner session expires after inactivity.
Optional external services
If the operator configures Google Analytics, consented events are sent to that service. Google advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled in this package’s default configuration. Approximate geography, where available in GA4, can be affected by networks and VPNs. Missing age or gender is never guessed.
Microsoft Clarity remains off unless an adult audience is explicitly configured and you allow analytics. It uses the consent v2 interface with advertising storage denied; the application content and form inputs are masked. External signup or checkout pages are operated by their respective providers. This site does not collect card details.
Your choice
Use “Analytics settings” at the bottom of any guide to change your choice. Withdrawing permission stops future first-party events, clears the random analytics browser/session identifiers and reloads the page if a third-party tag was loaded. It does not automatically erase previously aggregated reports. A Global Privacy Control signal prevents analytics activation.
Consent coverage is unknown because declined visits are not counted. The owner must publish their real business identity, contact route and applicable processor details before connecting email, payments or optional third-party services. The default package leaves those services blank.
Financial and subscription records
Email-form opens and checkout starts are intent events. Confirmed subscriptions and purchases must be established by the provider and payment ledger, not assumed from a click or a success-page visit.
